Yes, I am a UK taxpayer. I would like UK for UNHCR to claim Gift Aid on this donation, as well as any future donations and any donations made to UK for UNHCR in the past four years. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. Libya Floods Emergency

Libya has been hit by a devastating tropical cyclone, Storm Daniel. Initial reports of the scale of destruction are grave. More than 5,000 people have been confirmed dead, with thousands more still missing. Families have lost homes and been displaced by the flooding, including many refugees, asylum seekers and internally displaced people who live in the east of the country.

Families are in urgent need of life-saving aid and protection.

UNHCR colleagues are on the ground, rushing lifesaving aid, including tents, plastic sheeting and sleeping mats to emergency stockpiles in the affected region. They are working closely with other national and international humanitarian partners to rapidly scale up its emergency operations across Libya.
