Thank you for helping protect refugees like Amani 

After fleeing her home in Syria in search of safety, Amira and her daughter Amani faced another threat: winter. Living in one of the coldest regions in Lebanon, home is a makeshift shelter pieced together with scrap wood and plastic tarps.

Because of people like you, UNHCR was able to help Amira protect her family from the biting wind and bitter cold of winter. 

With the support of kind donors, Amira and her family received materials to strengthen and insulate their shelter, as well as emergency cash payments to buy fuel, food and winter essentials.
