Spotlight – Virgin Atlantic Foundation
UK for UNHCR is the dedicated international partner for ‘Passport to Change’, a Virgin Atlantic Foundation (VAF) programme designed to empower future generations through education.
Support from VAF is funding education for young refugees in Delhi, India. In the first year of our partnership alone, over 6,000 refugees have positively benefitted from their support.
Additionally, VAF have championed UNHCR’s social enterprise MADE 51 which helps refugee artisans access global markets to sell their crafts, as well as hosting charity football matches and matching employee donations to the UNHCR Ukraine Emergency appeal. Click here to find out more.
